The King's Group Academies Woodland – Fund a Tree

This product is specially set up for supporters and friends of The King’s Group Academies. 

Trees will be planted in one of Make it Wild's Nature Reserves in the UK.

The trees will be a mix of native deciduous trees, selected to be suitable for the land and the weather they will experience. This is the best way to encourage biodiversity, and successful woodland creation.

Experience shows us that planting trees in this way is the most effective method to create wildlife-rich natural wild woodland.

These woodlands:

• sequester CO₂e from the atmosphere

• provide habitat, shelter and food for wildlife

• create a wind break and local micro-climate

• create cooling shade in summer and warm shelter in the winter

• filter air and water

• reduce flooding

• stabilize soils, preventing erosion and nutrient loss

To date we have planted well over 100,000 trees.

What each dedication includes:

• planting of your tree(s) by Make it Wild

• a stake and tree guard or other protection as needed

• ongoing maintenance of the tree

• design of the woodland

• access to the woodland by prior arrangement, to visit or contribute to the maintenance of the trees

To buy more than one tree:

If you would like to contribute more than one tree, please simply increase the number of trees as you make the purchase. The certificate that we share will state how many trees you have funded and where they are located.
